One of my favorite summer Indiana activities: going to festivals.
On June 9, the Indieana Handicraft Xchange at the Harrison Center for the Arts was THE place to be. There were more than 100 artists, live music, local craft beer, and raffle prizes. Some of my favorite vendors....The Paper Acorn (pictured above) , The Cordial Kitten, and Sara B. Jewelry. I also loved the Crimson Tate booth. It just so happens that she has a new shop on Mass. Ave. If you love to sew, quilting or otherwise, her fabric selection is amazing!
If you missed Indieana Handicraft Xchange, you can always swing by Homespun Modern Handmade. It is a little shop in Irvington that carries many of the vendors from the show.
Other festivals that I look forward to this summer...
Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Uncle Pen Days Festival
